Giant sequoia along Terrestrial Ave in Wasilla

Here 4 trees are described along Terrestrial Ave in Wasilla (Matanuska-Susitna Borough).

The second picture is a Giant Sequoia from Welkers Nursery 2007 crop which was planted in Alaska in June 2009. The owner also has three more in pots and three Coastal Redwoods in pots as he doesn't believe they will survive an Alaskan winter with periods of temps in the -20 degree range.

He's probably right.
