Pedunculate oak 'Olof Palmes Ek' along the Parkslingan in Gällstaö

There is one pedunculate oak (Quercus robur) along the Parkslingan in Gällstaö (municipality of Ekerö).

This tree is called "Olof Palmes Ek". This is the second largest oak of Sweden in volume and with the third thickest trunk. The volume was measured as 63 cubic metre with a digital instrument.

The girth of the tree is 10.13 m measured at a height of 1.30 m (2006, Jeroen Pater). Its height is around 19.00 m (2006, measurement method unknown, Jeroen Pater).
