There is one bald cypress (Taxodium distichum) near the amphitheater in Zeliezovce (district of Levice).
This tree is called "Tisovec dvojradovy". In Slovak: "tisovec dvojradovy". Probably the oldest and tallest bald cypress tree in Slovakia. The girth of the tree is 5.01 m measured at a height of 1.30 m (Aug 11, 2012, Martin Miklanek). Its height is exactly 29.80 m (Aug 11, 2012, laser with Sine method (e.g. Nikon Forestry 550 laser rangefinder), Martin Miklanek). This tree was planted around the year 1803 ± 10, which makes it around 210 ± 10 years old (Martin Miklanek, Jan 8, 2012).
