Fredville Park is a publicly accessible park in the Canterbury area in Kent, England. The landscape has an open character and has a wealth of ancient trees: the park is dotted with gnarly, solitary trees.
Definately worth mentioning are the many impressive sweet chestnut trees and an oak tree of outstanding beauty: a English oak called Majesty. According to many, this fairy tale tree is one of the most beautiful in entire England.

Majesty (pedunculate oak "1720")

Majesty, one of the most beautiful oak trees I've ever seen.

Seen from this side, Majesty's shape reminds of an African baobab tree...

The inside of Majesty. This oak is entirely hollow, as is very often the case with old oak trees.
