Hi Sisley,

I measured it with Nikon Laser 550A S instrument. So tall S. aucuparia trees are very rare. This is the tallest laser measured S. aucuparia we are aware of. There were a 24-metre S. aucuparia in Finland, but now fallen and it was measured with Vertex (tangent method). In the T. R. O. B. I. there is a 28-metre specimen but probably not laser measured.
